As a child, she received a green hippo cuddly toy named "Fred" at birth, which became her constant companion. After Fred was lost, she received "Fred's Brother" as consolation – a story that still shapes the emotional core of the brand today and is reflected in the commitment to creating bags that become loyal companions.
