Batteries or rechargeable batteries (accumulators) may also be permanently installed in the items themselves, such as in suitcases with an integrated power bank. In connection with the sale of these batteries or accumulators, we are required under the Battery Ordinance to inform you of the following:
Dispose of used batteries as required by law at a municipal collection point or return them free of charge at a local retail store. Batteries you have received from us can be returned to us free of charge after use at the following address or sent to us by mail with sufficient postage:

Batteries that contain harmful substances are marked with the symbol of a crossed-out trash bin.
Under this symbol, you will also find the following abbreviations with the corresponding meanings:
Pb = Battery contains more than 0.004% lead by mass
Cd = Battery contains more than 0.002% cadmium by mass
Hg = Battery contains more than 0.0005% mercury by mass
